Tell Me About Minnesota's New Half Iron

http://www.cadencemultisports.com/index.html

Just kind of stumbled on this today, although I know people have been talking about it for at least a year. June 10 seems pretty early, even in the southern part of the state.

Whoops, I guess this is a better link:

.

The swim will be cold but chances are the bike and run will be in the 70’s. I didn’t do this race last year but heard about it. I know this is their second year and that last year went really well. Its West of the Twin Cities maybe a half hour. I just looked that the map and the bike course has rolling hills on it but overall fairly flat. I know the race director posts on another website too T.com. Hope that helps.

I didn’t race Liberty either. But I am tentatively planning on the 1/2 for next year (unless USAT puts the WQ or NATS on that weekend

How much does this race cost approxiamately? I’m trying to plan out my race season as much as possible before MMAs.

It’s on the website…

Olympic Distance $55 postmarked by April 1st $65 postmarked April 2nd - 30th $75 postmarked after April 30th Half Iron Distance $70 postmarked by April 1st $85 postmarked April 2nd - 30th $100 postmarked after April 30th

thanks, I didn’t see it. Thats a darn good price for a half, especially if they dicount at MMAs as well.

Do the races get that many entrants at the MMAs? How long have they been offering early registration there?

What are MMA’s?

What are MMA’s?
I think it’s the Midwest Multi-sports Awards banquet coming up in a couple of weeks (Nov 18?). Or it’s the Minnesota Music Awards but why they would offer discounts for triathlon entry I’ll never know

Thanks. I just got the email.
