Technical Running Books

I’m looking for any new, recently published books regarding running - specific to time goals, workouts, technically-minded and metric-based. Not so much the feel good, “running is great for my mental health” type - but factual and data-driven with workouts, metrics, etc. Think “Training and Racing with a Power Meter” but for running.

Ideas?

Not power meter but jack Daniels was not feel good and was technical and I’m not sure that there’s any evidence that his paces or the fundamentals have changed
.

Not recent, but ‘Run Less Run Faster’ sounds like it fits the bill.

I know it opens up a can of worms with some who say “running with power is pointless. Stryd isn’t accurate and cannot tell you anything GPS/HR can do”. But I have been using it for years and have had great success. Read the book “Run with Power” by Jim Vance and think it could work for you. Other books I have are from Jack Daniels, Pete Pfitzinger. All have training plans but have not found any that are specific to time goals since someone could do the same plan and run a 2:20 and another person could run a 3:30.

This is still The Bible imho, but it is old:

Training Distance Runners, by Coe/Martin.

This has nothing of what you’re looking for, which might be the exact point of it LOL
