Anyone on the "team’ last year? How do you get on the team and how was the experience? Looks like you get some good product and clothing? Would you do it again?

Unfortunately I think the deadline for applying has passed. You might want to check on that.
It has. My girlfriend is on it. She gets some racing gear and some computers and HRM’s. Money for placing in AG and overall I think. They also have to agree to put on a few HRM clinics at running stores and Tri-Clubs.
Does anyone know when they will be announcing their 2007 team?
They said 4-6 weeks after the app was due, If I remeber correctly it was due 1/1/07.
Should be soon - I applied for all the Active teams (Snickers, Polar, Aquaphor) and heard from Aquaphor today. I would expect to hear from the other two shortly.

I was on Polar in 2006. Had my interview for 2007 already. I like the updates for the team this year. Should be even better. Team should be announced on 1/25 is what I was told. This is subject to change but that was the goal.
We got cool stuff. I did 7 team/club clinics and 4 retail “appearances” - where we talked about the product with customers.

I had Polar sponsorship back in ~2001-2002 or so. Been using their products since '91…had a big old ProTrainer HRM. I think the watch face was at least 2" square back then. Lotsa companies in the game now, but they’re still the best by far. Sorry I missed the announcement or I would definitely have applied.

Not me. Had my phone interview on Jan 22nd and heard yesterday didn’t make the cut. Oh well; less work for me!
Got my “thanks but no thanks” email yesterday. Apparently they don’t like my market.
