I’m on my 3rd bottle of Sierra Nevada’s Torpedo Extra IPA. If you like IPA’s this is the way an IPA should taste like. It’s big on hoppiness.
I just bought a six-pack on Friday after work, and I have had three so far this weekend. It’s quite nice, though I prefer Celebration Ale, which also seems to be an IPA as well. I think the Torpedo is higher in alcohol, though. If you really like hops (and I do!) you ought to try a beer called Hopsickle, brewed by Moylan’s (sp?). It’s basically a triple IPA. The hops taste is darn near overwhelming. Have you tried any of the Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale? I haven’t seen it in stores yet.
Hmmm…haven’t seen that one, will have to give it a shot. I like IPAs, and Sierra Nevada, so sounds like a good combo. I had two Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPAs this evening…very tasty.

No I have not. The only Sierra Nevada beer I have drank before Torpedo is their Pale Ale which I like a lot. I’ll also give the other beers a try that you recommended. Thanks!
If you are an IPA fan you have to give stones a try - IPA is good - arrogant bastard is great. I like Sierra Nevada - but I really think stone’s is the better brew - give it a try.
If you are really into hoppy Dogfish head 60 and 90 are worth experimenting with - frankly I think the 90 is a bit unbalanced compared tot he 60 - but each has their fans.
I will have to stroll down to my local Total Wine and see if they have that one . Other good IPAs

For gods sakes I’m at work can’t we save this post for later. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale is the best damn beer ever made in America. I’d love to try the new one, also Anderson Valley hop ottin is good too. I’ve grown hops in my backyard before, I’m kind of a hop geek.
