I bet they did it because they didnt want to scare away the average woman who’s body fat is probably right around that number. I would guess that many more women then men buy that scale and that majority are women who are not exactly skinny. Of course there are a ton of triathletes who would buy one of these but i doubt we make up even 2% of their customer population plus it probably even gives some of the smaller triathletes some pleasure looking at how small their number is compared to the one in the pics.
