notice on package it states limit continuous use to < 6 hours. I wonder why that is. I’m planning on using it on for my IM bike so hopefully that will take me less than 6 hours. Just not sure why they would have that statement on there.
I use on IM bike and many Ultrarunners use it for longer.
I have used Tailwind exclusively throughout my last 3 IMs in the 12-13 hr range. I do use the caffeine version on the bike and non-caffeine on the run with no issues.
That’s just the caffeinated version, I believe so you don’t take in an excessive amount of caffeine. The regular version was designed so it could be used in long races (beyond 24 hours).
It’s probably a lawyer thing with the caffeine. I used Tailwind for 14+ hours at my ultra before switching to Rockstar for the last 12 hours(which has way more caffeine than the Tailwind and before they had a good tasting IMHO caffeine flavor).
You should be totally fine…
I see. the green tea one is my favorite flavor otherwise I’d switch if I had concerns
