I am getting my Imagic from Trisports this afternoon and was wondering if it comes with the USB cable. I know alot of computer peripherals such as printers do not come with one. If it doesnt come with one, can someone please tell me if both ends of the plug are the same size or is it more like a camera where one side is smaller (the one that goes in the trainer). I dont want to get all excited to get home and play with my new toy only to have to run out to buy a cable.
I the i-magic stuff is pretty good and robust. It’s the more recent software that’s a bit flacky. All the fun stuff can be found at thehttp://imagic.e-cycling.se/index.php
But if you want to do focused quality sessions then learn how to use the Catalyst tool and don’t try to built sessions by power (i.e. intervals like 5 mins at power X) because it isn’t so accurate. Instead do them by gradient and use your cadence to hit the target watt levels. The gradient feature is nice as you just put the bike into a reasonable gear and just peddle while the ride gets harder or easier. No chunk of chain, no slippeage, just peddle harder…
