Waugh raced Phuket in November (?50km bike) and I think that’s her only non-SC race.
Waugh and Coldwell were pretty matched SBR in 2024 (with Coldwell a bit better on the bike) and we saw how Coldwell did on almost zero notice in T100 London (swam with LCB, rode with her till half way and dropped back, and lost 4 mins to Gentle on the run; finishing #7, 2 mins adrift of Byram).
Think Waugh has a shout for top 10 in Singapore, though assume she’s had to split her Dec/Jan on road and TT bike training (in Girona with Stapley?). A good #10 in WTCS Abu Dhabi a month ago.
She can skip Yokohama and Alghero (racing T100s April/May/June) before WTCS Hamburg in July and her ‘home’ T100 in London in August. I guess racing WTCS Karlovy Vary is doable before T100 Spain (Valencia) a week later (20th September).
Waugh has been in South Africa and then the Middle East training for Singapore (not Girona). She’s also switched coaches this year.

GTB was #2 in the Inter-Counties XC (Nottingham, won in 27 mins) last weekend (which is a bigger deal than the Nationals (imho, less of a mudfest)): flying!
Winner was the same as at Parliament Hill (Gibbons).
Matthias was in #4 and minute back on GTB.

T100 Vancouver race course maps out, and not surprisingly the old Subaru course that IM bought and ended the race in like…2014. Good course I think - not great but will be interesting to see the run course as it’s almost all crushed gravel trail like SF but also in thru the trees.

She was 006 (and last) on the wait list so seems Curran and Kivioja declined their offer.

No, but EPB is pregnant.
No. PTO listed 15 contracted athletes initially (so 5 ‘missing’ which included EPB already).
But only four wildcards announced (see upthread) on 11th March.
And we now know the final athlete (Hukka) to make up the 20 to start.
(The MPro figures were/are 18 plus 2 wildcards.)

Curran was on the wait list and I assumed either she or Kivioja would get #20 slot. But Hukka announced on T100 insta.
I guess this is once again the issue that the right hand does not know what the left hand does. and the more people are involved in the entry process the more complicated it gets.
Yes - I suspect the WT mechanism just cranks, whereas the PTO have a human in the system. Or Curran was promoted from the Waiting List but then said ‘thank you, no’ and they went to the next in line.
All responses go to PTO (Dylan, I think) and when he’s got a ‘yes’ he passes that straight to the PTO/T100 SM lead to post the happy news. and WT catches up in due course (“what’s the hurry?”)
