GTB and Derron were shoulder to shoulder for a lot of the run last time they raced together, GTB beat her in to podium.

Just tuned in, who was 1st out the water? Why is Lee a DNF?

Sala with Spivey and Evans behind her: loose pack of 12 with #12 24 secs down (Derron).
Lee - no idea why DNF - should have been in that pack but wasn’t in it even after 5 minutes,
I guess am surprised with Schär’s poor swim.

Schear is a weak ITU swimmer but that was weak for t 100 she seems off today on the bike as well.

Broadcast coverage seems rather unimaginitive. Minutes of just tracking Derron and not a glimpse of those just behind. Just checked: nine continuous minutes of Derron!! Have they just the one motocamera?
Siffert totally overbiked in Frejus last year and, I assert, she’s just sending it and devil take the run.

Rubbish insinuation there. She is continually sitting well over the 20m draft zone so not getting the same draft advantage as the 2 in front working a pace line together.

No instead she’s getting a regular draft off the photo moto who’s following behind the two lead gals.

Well I suggest GTB will have been getting less draft from the moto (which was a TO btw, not camera) than wheel 2 of Siffert/Derron combo.
Can’t believe those two benefited from the constant red flash / passing and repeat.
GTB put socks on whereas the two Swiss didn’t - lost 25 seconds.
Cheeky run (profile below) and short: 17.1km total (after a 73km bike).

She has stayed back as much as she could, more than she legally needed actually, that bike has spent a lot of time moving up with the front girls and back down behind GTB too.

Rayner moved up at the end of the bike and is now running rather well.
GTB suddenly right up to Derron - something is wrong.
Derron carrying those hand batons is just weird.

Where did I say she was drafting she is just racing smart
