I apologize if this has been asked before. Was looking to register but saw that since I am not a Nevada resident, i live in Phoenix, i have to stay at host hotel. Cheapest option adds just under $1000 (not including hotel fees) with 3 night minimum to entry fee. Is this normal? Thank you.
Why do you have to stay at the host hotel? I probably would for convenience sake because staying up in the Strip would be a pain in the ass but what’s forcing you to stay there?
I just tried to register just to see, and if you say you live in any state other than Nevada it won’t let you register without choosing a 3 night accommodation option. Like you, I’d probably stay there anyways but being forced to do so is a strange move by T100
I don’t get how they can force those not from Nevada to stay at one particular hotel.
That would be more than enough for me to say fuck them and their race.
Just wait to register. I deferred from last year and reached out about this exact thing. They’ll have regular registration open a bit later where you don’t have to also buy accommodation.

I did it last last year and got an airbnb in Henderson. It was maybe a 15 minute drive to the lake.
