That explains why, the day after the Fixapolooza, in 56/57F at Corona del Mar, I swam 2.4 miles, whereas my buddy, not normally a wimp, declined after 20 mins saying it was too cold. I was actually warm after about 5 minutes.
I’ve always been comfy in mine, never overly hot and never chilled…
I almost want to buy a another one for the 2005 look! An unassuming, almost all black look. Looks fast! I’m not a big fan of the huge Desoto T1 logo on the front of mine.
I do luke warm events (70 to 77 degrees) in just the bibjohn and it seems just as fast as wearing both the top and the bibjohn. Still, no water seemed to get in the suit.
Anyone else have the same exeriences just using the bibjohn alone (bottom piece)?
