yikes - looks like the typical temps are looking to be low’s in the high 40’s and high temp in the low to mid 60’s… I can’t say I’ve had any appreciable cool / cold weather swimming or riding since last spring, so I’m going to have to sort out my survival gear this weekend. Will be nice to have a cool morning to run for once, at least. Coming up from Delaware for the race…
Are numbers posted yet and I’m just dumb? I looked last night and could find any. Hope the lake isn’t frozen by next weekend!

Yes, it’s estimated, but that’s the only site I’ve been able to find that actually talks about water temp at all.
Sorry, I meant race numbers. I’ll be surprised if the water is 72, it has been cold consistently at night. Don’t believe it!!!

Swam in the reservoir this morning, no way it is 72 degrees, but it’s certainly not bad, just a minute or two to get your breath under control.

Figure of speech! OK I may be guilty of over exageration there, sorry to panic you!!! Maybe just a couple of dolphin dives and about 15 seconds to feel acclimated, but it would also have been doable just jumping right in and setting off. I’ll try and get an accurate temp this weekend. It was a nice swim this morning, water like glass.
