I’m pretty green to the Tri wetsuit game (only wetsuit I own is an O’Neill 3/2 Heat, size LT) and came across Synergy wetsuits. Quick glance suggests good quality for the price, but again, I know too little. Didn’t find much in the way of recent info via search here and am curious if anyone has feedback on them, Hybrid in particular.
From what I’ve read, fit is key, but getting a sense of quality of the suit would help me rule it out as an option from step 1.
Synergy makes excellent suits at a very reasonable price. You get a lot more quality at a given price point than the bigger names. They have been in business for many years and are reliable. Get in touch and they will be glad to help you with any questions.
I bought one 7 or 8 years ago. It’s still in great shape. Spoke with the guys directly at Synergy and they were really helpful about sizing. First one didn’t fit right. They told me to take it to the pool for a few swims and if it still didn’t feel right to send it back on them. Ended up returning for the next size up and it’s been solid.
I bought a synergy wet suit from wetsuitoutlet.com about 4 years ago. I have never regretted my decision. I love my wetsuit and it is still in good shape.
I love my synergy wetsuit. Got it 4 years ago and it still looks brand new. In fact, my wife has loaned her suit out to a couple of friends to try and they have loved it as well. As to the quality of their product I haven’t witnessed anything that would make me question it. all the seams are well done and extra reinforcement is where it would need to be. both of our suits haven’t gotten fingernail holes or tears either.
