I, and likely many others in this group, use Phys Farm: Race Day for objectively tracking athlete progress. I was chatting with David Tilbury-Davis (Tilburs) and asked about this watch’s compatibility with Race Day. He said it only offers a .csv export and Race Day works with a .fit export. I have a note out to swimovate to see if we can’t engineer a solution on this. Stay tuned!
I was thinking about that so great to see you got the ball rolling. Thanks!

There. Let’s you convert GPS file formats.
Thanks for your interest guys, I am afraid our software will not export .fit files but we have a new version that will export xml files as well as .csv files.
Physfarm may be able to work with this instead. I’ll contact them and see if this format is suitable and if we can do anything else.
Thanks
Lisa
lisa, the head of physfarm, philip skiba, has access to this forum. he’s a slowtwitch regular. perhaps he’ll just answer that question you’re posing here on this thread.
do you have a swimovate file we could put through this?
Lisa, can you pass along your email? I’ll put you in touch with the two guys that head up Phys Farm. I’m good personal friends with Phil and know he’s under the gun right now and putting you in touch with David might be a better option.
My email is support@swimovate.com if you want to contact me directly, I have met David before, we did speak about importing our csv file a couple of years ago. I already sent him an email on earlier today so we will see what the score is later.
Thanks
Lisa
perfect. i’ll let you guys take it from here.
I know that when garmin came out with the ‘swim’ and ‘910’ they decided to go that route because of the file type.
good luck!
Hi Guys,
I’m now officially in the loop.
Lisa, I believe you are already in touch with David at this point, so we’ll go from there. If you could export in TCX format (which is a variety of XML), our software could handle the file immediately, since it is written to work with the Garmin stuff (as MVA said).
Best,
Phil
Hi Phil
Thanks for this info, we will look at that. It looks promising.
Lisa
Mark,
We’ve spoken with Lisa regarding working with Raceday Apollo, a solution is now work in progress, will let you know as soon as we’ve resolved it.
David
FYI we have now finished off the development work with Lisa & Swimovate. They are just verifying the coding and making sure it all runs smoothly before doing a release.
After which you will be able to export a tcx file from Swimovate software and import the tcx file into you Raceday Apollo using the “import” button within a swim session “Triathlon Utilities” window.
Regards
David
