So today I was this close to be a major strange denizen of the pool. I’m in the looker room, put on my speedos and was about to walk to the pool when I realize that I have to go to the bathroom. I turn around and get to the stall; once there I shockingly realize there is a whole right there!!! I have no idea how it happened, my guess is that something happened in the washing machine.
Anyway, I now have to replace it, do you guys have any recommendations? My main concern is to find something with a material that is not see-through. I always had the feeling that the speedos’ fabric was kinda thin.

I’ve had good luck with these suits lasting a long time, should be close to a year for most people.
x2 on the Endurance, but go with the Jammers.

I recommend doing away with suits altogether. We need to reclaim the purist aspect of the sport!

BTW, very good thing you had to go this morning or we could be getting a completely different story.
A drag suit is either another speedo (back in the day) or these days they make looser polyester ones that don’t disintegrate quite as quickly.
I’ve also had good luck with speedo endurance, btw.
The TYR Durafast suits which are polyester have held up REALLY well for me in the chlorine.

A drag suit is a second suit that’s a little loose that you wear over your first one. It makes you go a little slower which… I do not know why we actually do that… but it feels good when you take it off and race!!!
My current favorite is a two-piece with an old one-piece suit over it. They’re cut differently in the hips and they look neat when they’re layered. Guys just don’t have as much fun with swimsuits as girls do, I think.
