So, I was wondering if anyone had any experience comparing the 2XU Propel Pro vs. the Maverick X2? I currently have an Arena carbon, but find the shoulders quite restricting. I’m a pretty quick swimmer, and have swum competitively growing up.
All thoughts would be appreciated?
the Propel pro seems to be under 1 mm thickness in the shoulders which is super appealing, I have no idea how thick the Maverick is, but everyone raves about it.
My experience with the 2XU was not the greatest when it comes to quality and lasting. I had the propel and go warranty on it pretty soon after a few swims as the panel under the arm was coming undone and had holes in it. That can happen but should not happen that quick. Maverick is great. I swim in it a lot since we are in lock downs again and pools are closed. No real issues and I don’t feel too restricted in my shoulders. I did hear some ppl had issues though apparently but that could be a sizing issue possibly.
The best high end wetsuit out there is definitely the DeSoto T1. Made for swimmers, fit and speed. I have had several, and love the feel it provides. Durability is great and you cannot beat the service and attention to detail that Emilio provides. Great brand, great product, great support.
