Can anyone suggest a well-marked, (preferably) rural bike ride through SW Michigan? I live in Chicago but will be in Dowagiac, MI, this Friday and hope to get in about 100 miles. I’m training for IM-MOO, so a moderately hilly course would be a bonus. Thanks.
email me at campbell53 at sbinet.com I live in Niles and can help you out…
The Apple Cider Century is pretty nice. You can get the map(s) and do the ride anytime on your own.
If Dougie’s suggestions don’t work for you, I’ll second Jim’s suggestion of doing the ACC course… it’s very nice with little traffic.

I’m not sure where the ACC route will take you, but if you can find Corey Lake, which is east of Dogpatch, the roads around the lake are quite hilly. In fact, the Three Rivers Tri is taking place on those same streets on the 20th.
Have fun, and if you have a chance, have dinner at Woodfire in downtown Dowagiac. Tremendous food and service.
