Suunto 5 - screws for band?

Missing a watch band screw on my Suunto 5. Call to Suunto indicates the only option is to send to their approved service center for repair. Seriously? Seems like it might be something that could be sourced somewhere, but Google-fu has turned up nothing so far.

Anyone know of a source for a suitable replacement screw?
