Amazing. Road bike, tri bike for people with back problem and a mountain bike all in one. Somone paid 5000$ for this setup? They must have more dosh than common sense.

Comfort goes crazy setup.

I would not like such a bike - I think I will be very frustrated. I like to go forward not to bounce and bob.

IMO this is the ugliest triathlon bike ever.
The wheels are nice.

I’ll admit it: I’m so happy with the lack of vibration on my rear end (I ride a Softride Classic TT) that I think I’ve become hyper-sensitive to vibration up front. I actually considered looking for an old RockShox Ruby on eBay, but stopped short because I didn’t want to have to deal with all the crap I would get from other cyclists. I’ve never understood why people want to have so much “road feel”. Bah… I used to ride a 1986 Cannondale 3.0, I’ve had more than enough “road feel” for a lifetime. I’ll take cush any way I can get it now :-).

Because we like to move forward, not up and down.

Brand new Spinergys?!? 1,000 miles on frame and fork- maybe since the repaint!!!

Actually, what I find more disconcerting is the guys statement that he paid over 5,000 clams for this bike with 8-speed 105 components. I’ll accept that the Hawaii location could play into that situation, having lived there in another life. Also, I’d like to know more about that Chris Kane headset. I just recently built up 2 Softride Classics with full DA 10 ( exceptin’ Ultegra 10 cassette and 6610 pedals), BongTrader Race X Wheels, Michelin Pro Race 2 tires, Chris King headsets and a bit of time looking for the good deals. I put both bikes together for $4600! Okay, I’ll admit that I already had the saddles and handlebars for the bikes - so sue me. Having just begun riding this bike I love the butt/back comfort but am very aware of the road shock coming thru the h-bars. The bike is not balanced comfort & road shockwise front to rear. I’m thinking of getting the Softride suspension stem to resolve that issue. The Ruby fork is a cool idea that I hadn’t thought of.

all this bike needs are pegs on the back and a Mexican flag on the seat post. Then I can say, “Pegs, shocks, Lucky!!!”

Pretty aero set up too. The pads are higher than the saddle? I think that suspension fork can be found on some of the older Trek high end hybrid/comfort bikes.

does it say

‘only 45lbs! climbs great!’?

Not very aero, but it might not be too bad for double centuries.

Are those SPD pedals? or speedplay frogs? I can’t tell.

Shock forks are for mountain bikes & kids with rings through the eye lids & lips . They like hitting the ground face first ,getting a mouth full of earth. Suspension is power robbing - unstable braking , the rest is fine.
