Superfeet vs power step

I just put some berry superfeet in my shoes after having some PF for the past few weeks. My doctor suggested I try them. I was able to actually do a slow run with them and noticed a big difference in my every day shoes. I want to buy another pair for my work shoes, but am interested in the power step. The berry insoles seem to take up a tad bit too much in my work shoes. I hear they are both good insoles and my running store didn’t have the power step in stock for my size. Curious what others think of them.

Power Step Pinnacle is my go to insole. I have a pair of superfeet but I think the Power Step is the best fit and support. I have 4 or 5 pairs of those so that I don’t have to switch them around all the time.

Superfeet has some great options for dress shoes and most footwear types in general. If you like the Berry take a look at the new ME and GO Series for casual and comfort footwear. I would think these would take up a lot less volume in the shoes than the Powerstep also.

The key differences between Superfeet and Powerstep are the principles of creating the support, shape and the overall fit and feel. Superfeet foundation is in rear foot support with a 3D shape that is based on podiatric biomechanics. But some feet like Powerstep but most feet like Superfeet and if you like the berry I would image you would like some of the other superfeet products…

Have u ever tried the original vs the pinnacle?

I’m on Superfeet green now for my regular shoes (based on doctor’s recommendation after trying to sort out a new foot pain). Used to use Powerstep Original and Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx. I like the Superfeet Green’s I am currently on and seems to be much better for me with long term wear, standing, etc compared to Powerstep. But if it wasn’t for the doc’s recommendation to try something different I would’ve most likely stuck with Powerstep though. REI 20% coupons are the best time to buy Superfeet (or when they go on sale).

For running itself, I’ve only tried the Powerstep Originals in some running shoes and was not a huge fan of it (mainly because the shoes I was using them with had ultra flexible soles). Instead I am running in moderate motion control shoes anyways (makes it much easier).

Na, I’ve just tried the pinnacle. They look pretty similar on their website and would venture to say they are fairly comparable to each other.

When I bought a pair of superfeet insoles they actually did more damage than good… totally over supported my feet… I think sometimes brand names can act as a placebo for some people.
I actually prefer to wear these ones instead as they are far better at supporting my feet

This is EXTREMELY individual. For example I love the regular powerstep, but HATE the pinnacle . . . and they give 'em (gave) to me for free! The problem I have had with Powerstep is that they don’t fit well in some shoes, particularly racing, that have a narrow “throat” so I experimented w/ Superfeet (they have a lot of them!) and dialed in the black. They are now replacing my powestep in performance sloes although I still love them in boots and all of my dress shoes.

** I believe Superfeet has a no questions asked money back (corporate not local store) . . . I returned a bunch before I settled on the black. So, no reason not to experiment extensively.
