so i went for a 2-hour ride and about 25 minutes into my run (after the ride) I took off my shoes and decided to run in socks. Interestingly (tangent) I found my ankle pain completely disappeared running shoeless. So weird. So about a minute or almost immediately after taking off my shoes I got this stabbing pain high in my upper back between my shoulder blades. I thought it was from holding my shoes and a waterbottle while running and figured it would go away once I got my shoes back on. But it didn’t. Lying on my back makes the pain much diminished but taking a super deep breath, I’ve got the sharp, stabbing pain which settles down to very dull once (I assume) I’'m no longer using those muscles. What The Hell? I got nothing else to think heart attack - feeling great and today was my first day of feeling “normal” after being down for 2 weeks sick where I put out a decent effort on the bike. took 600 mg ibuprofen but I’m not sure it made any difference.
