Subtitute for Merrell Bare Access shoes

Hi,

I really like to use barefoot-like shoe for casual walk during the day. Previously, I was using Merrell Bare Access 4 (see picture in attachment) but those are not in production anymore.

Anyone know a good replacement that don’t look weird?

Thanks,
Fred

.

This model have a 6mm drop. I’m looking more for zero drop shoes.

Anyone trried Lems shoes?

The Merrell Bare Access 4 are still available from Amazon among others. I’ve been using the Bare Access since the first iteration about 6 years ago. I haven’t found a substitute yet but I’ll be looking for one.

I’ve been wearing Lems 9to5 shoe for 2 years or so. I love them - zero drop, wide toe box, minimalist, very comfortable. Durable also, as I’m still wearing the same pair and they are holding up very well. I haven’t tried any of their other models, yet.

Merrell has the new Bare Access Flex. I never wore the Access 4 shoes, but I have tried the new Flex for 2 runs so far and I have really liked them.
