Stripped 4mm Allen head screw...How do I get it out?

Trying to replace my Bontrager brakes on my Madone with the new Direct mount Dura-Ace ones. I was able to get the front off just fine but the 4mm screw on the rear stripped almost instantly. I feel like Bontrager sources really weak screws, its happened on my Speed concept as well.

How can i get this out. Not super excited to try to dremel a slit in it to use a screwdriver and not sure I can get enough hold to get it to release.

ideas?

Drill the head off and tap it out in reverse with a small, fine center punch. I have not done this on bike parts but it works in other applications.

.

This has worked like a charm for me.

Usually, as indicated above, you just need to drill off the head. Once the head falls off, the screw is often easy to remove with your fingers or pliers. A step drill bit works great.

I went to the local Ace and picked a set of extractors. I will report back if I can get them to work.

Cut a slot into it with a dremel & use a screwdriver to take it out.
