Storage inside Disc Cover

If you use a disc cover for your rear wheel is there any reason you couldn’t/shouldn’t use the space inside the cover to store a spare tube? Like maybe secure it to a spoke or to the inside of the cover?

How to get it out if you need it on a ride/race?

Also rotational weight

Uh. Wheel balance? Do you want a constant vibration rolling down the road?

This is probably the biggest negative, and can lead to “death wobbles” on high speed descents.

You could wrap a light, TPU tube around the rear hub (minimal rotational inertia issues; still the access issues); but why not just put some supplies in a ziploc and tape it under your saddle (among many storage options)?

Yeah you do not want to do this. Going to be a really shaking all over the place.
