Stolen Bike Alert-Specialized Venge, Virginia Beach VA

I had my black Specialized Venge stolen from my apartment in Virginia Beach, VA last night. It’s matte black, not the S-works model, size XL/61cm. Shimano 105 for the most part on it, with a Quarq with SRAM chainrings on it. It also had the Roval 35mm wheels on it, and a somewhat goofy DIY setup for some ITU aerobars to deal with the aero drop bar. (Ignore the green tape in the picture on the seatpost, but there also might be a Coast Guard sticker on the right side of the headtube that’s not in this picture, if the person trying to sell is a complete idiot)https://scontent.forf1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13442180_10206685093909251_6913987813309908777_n.jpg?oh=dedbc13590b0ceadd29ad69efe7b2100&oe=57FE9C28

Bumping this because Craigslist within 200 mi and eBay are still failing me. There really aren’t a whole lot of size XL Venges out there, so if this doesn’t end up in a dumpster, somebody is going to see it eventually…

What part of town? Check Bridle Creek or Green Run. Haha, an inside joke for people who grew up in my neighborhood. I would have added carper housing, but they demolished that 20 years ago.

Total bummer.

Thought this might help broaden your search: http://www.searchcraigslist.org/

Though not affiliated with Craigslist, that site will search your “term” across all craigslist sites and turn back a list of results you can follow. Put your search term in quotations to limit the returns to listing that contain your exact text.

Best of luck to you

Yea I’m using Searchtempest.com which is a similar aggregator. It’s also tough because I’m trying to think like a “commoner,” in that I know I would list it as “Specialized Venge size XL/61 Shimano 105 w/ Quarq” but I’m more likely to see “black street bike” from a bike thief.
