How do the aftermarket ceramic pulleys compare to Record or Dura ace. Does anyone have them? How do they work for you?
I am having one put on my bike, so he if it does not do anything, do I get extra watts for cool factor? :o)

PLENTY of threds on the ceramic issue…The pulleys are actually a decent idea, HOWEVER, I would argue that you need to focus on keeping them clean and gunk free, as opposed to putting ceramics in them. My motto on bike care is this: Clean Crap Works Better.
That said, I have ceramic bearings in the hubs, BB, and pulleys in my road bike and they do spin much easier than stock bearings. Whether that gives me more watts, I can’t quantify, but the amount of drag is less.
