Anyone have experience with their shoes feeling “sticky” on their treadmill?
There is one treadmill at the gym that my shoes feel sticky on, and it even makes the sticky sound every foot lift. Finally looked down and the belt was pretty worn out. Still hasn’t gotten replaced after many years lol.
having this issue now. Do you have black residue on the bottom of your shoes when this happens? I do, and when I clean it off the sticking stops.
However, builds back up pretty quick. I’m thinking some buildup of gunk on one of the internal rollers (my treadmill is about 18 years old and has never been services).

Our treadmill is less than a year old.
