Steve, did you file the petition? Will it be with the wording that the amendment by the board will be provisional until a vote of the membership?

Sorry, guys… It’s been a busy week, and I’m actually traveling in San Jose today. However, here’s a quick update:
I sent the Petition on Thursday night, overnighted to the USAT in Co Springs. They signed for it at 9:30 on Friday morning. On Sat., I realized that the check I’d included for the $50 petition fee was drawn on our old account in Dallas, which no longer exists. Oooops… Didn’t know we even had check for that account still around. So, I FedExed a new check Sat., which should have arrived on Monday. Hopefully, there won’t be a problem with that.
The Petition was sent in the same format you saw it in the PDF on the website. I included a “Supplemental Facts and Argument” section in a separate document to address the facts and issues arising after the Petition was drafted. If you want, I’ll post that new section to the website tomorrow, after I’ve made it home from San Jose.
So far, I’ve heard nothing from USAT.
