Just wake up from the weekend??? Fully discussed in a couple of threads. Steve kicked some butt! And yes, he’s going to Kona.
“I hope he is…such a great biker”
I thought triathlon was three sports - swimming, cycling and running done continously with the first person across the line the winner.

Yeah sort of, my bad i go back and look…this golf thing is outta hand. lol

Didn’t he get busted for shoplifting awhile back?
(IT’s A JOKE, PEOPLE.)
No I thought it was soliciting a male prostitue in some park…I’ll see if I can make up some documentation on that one.

Fleck…you should know better. Here at Slowtwitch, the race end at T2…
Here’s a couple of fun questions for Ironman Hawaii:
Over/Under on # of male pro’s Steve beats?
Over/Under on # of male pro’s Steve ‘outbikes?’
Who will finish first, Macca or Steve Larsen?
It’s hard to really care about these questions, but not when compared to reading the debate going on in the Diet Coke thread…
How about the over / under on if he will even finish the race.
5 male pros will beat Larsen. Larsen will beat Macca, but Macca will finally go sub 8:25 at Kona. I predict that the times will be very fast this year. A good friend of mine passed up his Kona slot. Whenever he goes, there are gail force winds. When he stays back, guys like LVL go 8:04.

I tried to imply that in the Macca vs. Steve question without being too negative, cause I don’t like negativity.
And we’ll take odds on that, not an over/under, you stupid moron!
jk…
I would love to see him put together a run like in LP and just win OVERALL, what about that. First pro crosses the line and is extatic. Then 14’ after him Larsen crosses the finish line . Larsen started 15’ after the pro’s…
drop dead
Your a Larsen kiss ass
.
I assume the other pros won’t care too much about him since he would not be racing for the $250K purse right? Not sure how competitive he can be working full time and with three kids (one a recent addition).
SL might be competitive since he will be well tapered. 4:03 at vineman suggests some level of fitness and ability to compete
HomerJ, obviously you didn’t see my wink, toungue, or jk to indicate a joke. I was being ironic, saying I don’t like negativity then being negative.
And I don’t kiss anyone’s ass. I’m just trying to promote some fun Triathlon related discussions, not some stupid shit one whether or not my yellow Livestrong bracelet means i’m a conforming Lance follower.
So let’s get back on topic…how many people outsplit Larsen on the bike? Focus Homer, here’s a Duff…a beer…your favorite beer…
Dude relax, I was only kidding - did the same thing because of the negativity comment.

Yes!!! That would be AWESOME! Maybe doing the family/work/train-when-you-can-plan is the ticket for Steve. As I recall, he didn’t have much run training in when he won IMLP; and got injured when some “coach” put him on a training schedule. Rip it up, Steve!
you made the classic mistake of not including a ;), :P, or ‘jk’ which led me to misinterpret the intentions of your post. Shame on you.
‘Ladies and Gentlemen…I give you your moron…’
Let’s turn this thread into a Homer Simpson quote fest.
dohh,
No beer make Homer go - something - something - CRAZY!!! Don’t mind if I do -------------------
