I was helping a friend install a new Stages power meter. We removed the battery protector and secured the battery cover. The Green LED was flashing but then all of a sudden stopped. Even after rotating the crank as we thought it went into sleep mode, but still it remains undiscoverable by the Garmin head unit. We even tried switching out the battery with no luck. Any thoughts? TIA.
Did you try to connect with the Stages app? Might be worth a shot.
Yep, the app does not find the unit either.
was his foot actually clipped in? I remember I tried to turn the pedal by hand to get my stages crank to show up on the app and it didn’t work until I got on the bike and pedaled while clipped in.
