I’ve flipped through the quick guide and read 80+ pages of the 112 page manual. I give up. How do I set the basic information? You know, like the time? Seriously.
plug it into the computer and use the srm software. that’s all i could figure out. saved me a lot of time.
Ugh! I don’t have the software. I got this used, from a friend. I’m looking into getting the software online right now…
Everything is done through SRMwin. Get that downloaded, then it is easy.
Yup!, downloaded the software and now it makes sense.
SRMWin also needs to be installed prior to Device agent working, AFAIK.

Easy? I guess that’s correct as long as it is within that archaic software interface. Things like power averaging, not so easy. I’m still yet to determine how to flip back and forth between the regular display and average for the current interval while in progress. I love my SRM but it can be a right pain in the ass at times.
Really? In interval mode, just push MODE. That takes you to the average screen. The Average screen shows the interval average if you are in an interval, and the overall average if you are not in interval mode.
Don’t you have to then go back through other displays (with a several second pause between each) to get back to current power? In either case I should probably revisit the manual before saying something else stupid.

Such PCV display set ups are not *that hard *to do with SRMwin, and to be fair, you are talking about a bike computer that’s been in use for over a decade, you know, back when the only alternative was a dark grey battery munching powertap cervo.
The average screen will return to the main screen after about ten seconds. I believe you can change the delay in SRMwin.
