How long should I get out of a full charge of an SRM PCV? I’ve never gotten the 29 hours it claims to have anyways!!
Also how many years use should I get out of an SRM PCV before the battery needs to be changed?
definitely not 29 hours…
I just recharge it every time after a long weekend ride because it’s a major bummer to go out on a subsequent ride and have it die on me.
I got 5 years out of my battery before it permanently died. Didn’t use/charge it from October to February or so and it was DEAD.

I’ve had mine two years and find that I get maybe 8-10 hours riding and two downloads from a charge - sounds about right?

I have had problems with my PCV battery either not charging at all, or running out within an hour after a ‘full charge’.
It wasn’t until I found out that if your PCV runs out or is low on battery, you should charge it in 2 hour intervals, with at least 1 hour break in between charges. After a few times through this, just leave it on overnight. I think I can get around 20 hours from the battery if I do this.
