I have the new 12 sp SRAM Red AXS with the one button that goes into the aero extensions. They simply “click†in but how do you remove them? What’s the trick? I am installing new aero bars and need to remove them to put on the new ones and I feel like I am really needing to pull pretty hard for something that small and plastic.

If so, it just pulls out. Here’s how I remove them.
Make sure you’ve got some slack on the cable so that isn’t binding, Get a small flat blade screwdriver and get under the edge of blip/bar connection.
Generally once you move it a little it comes out pretty easy but if it’s super tight a flat blade on opposing sides pushing or pulling it out straight until it breaks loose.
The little rubber rings do hold them in pretty good.
