I am getting a new road bike with SRAM AXS. I had the wired Blips on my old road bike as climber buttons, and I absolutely love them. I want to set that up on my new bike. But, I am not sure which of the two would be best.
My old bike had a round handlebar, and I had the Blips positioned tight against the stem. They were great there, because they were not in the way of my hands and angled toward me a little in perfect reach of my thumb.
The new bike has an integrated, one-piece stem & handlebar and a flatter profile (versus round). So, the blips, if they would fit, would probably have to sit on top of the bar. The Multiclics look like they are designed to fit under the handlebar tape and therefore would be inset more, potentially interfering with where I might like to put my hands.
Anyway, I am curious if anyone has Multiclics on a road bike, and what are your thoughts. Bonus points if it is an aero drop bar.
