Sports Instruments: SI 90...mount?

I have a SI 90 (wireless). I read on Dan’s site that it can be mounted on the stem. Is there some tricks to this? It looks like I gotta mount it sideways (would prefer it vertical). Also the mounting bracket that came with it does not reach around the stem. I tried a zip tie but it was too large to fit thru the holes in the bracket. (have not tried to find smaller zip ties) I thought I would see if you all had any suggestions before I go spending an afternoon on it.

I have the SI 90 and have it mounted on the stem. You actually need this other bracket which Sports Instruments will send you if you give them a call. Then you just place this on the stem and use zipp ties. It works really and I love the computer.
