I have a spin bike sitting in the theatre room and just wondering can these sort of programs be done on spin bikes? Are you able to wing it a little bit maybe using HR as a guidance rather than gear/watts etc? I dont use the spin bike too much, but the weather is getting really crappy lately, and les mills RPM dvd’s kinda suck (we have a few lying around). Cheers 
Yes, of course you can use a spin bike. You will have to adjust the tension when Troy says to change gears.

I don’t know about Sufferfest but you can certainly use spinner bikes with Spinervals. There are almost always some people on the videos using them. Troy tells you roughly where to have the tension. Yes you can use HR and zones plus cadence as a guide, Troy will often tell you how, depending on the video.
