Has anyone had any experience with the new 2005 Spinergy Stealth Carbon SS wheelset? I just picked up a pair off e-bay for $425. Was gonna use these on my Kestrel Talon road set-up. After the fact I read some reviews on the 2004 Spinergy Tilium Carbon SS and the reviews were only marginal. Kind of has me a little concerned now. Any reviews or personal experiences out there in Slowtwitchland?

Nothing like starting to research your purchases after you have pulled the “trigger”. Maybe you should go about these things in a slightly different order in the future?

Yea, no kidding. I kinda’ goofed didn’t I? Stupid me! What was I thinking, or not thinking when I bid on those '05 Spinergy Stealths? It’s a good thing I race on HED Alps and HED 3s otherwise I might be screwed. Thanks for your wise words of wisdom, next time I will take your advice but then again, maybe I shouldn’t listen to others opinions on wheels and just form my own opinion based on personal experience. I shouldn’t let a couple of marginal reviews on www.roadbikereview.com bother me. Worse case scenario, I throw them back on e-bay and get what I have invested into them back if not more.

I bought a pair on Ebay as trainers.
I have found them pretty comparable to my Zipp 404’s, just a little lower quality. But because I am a Clydsdale, I feel a little more confident I won’t break them (the 404’s are not Clydsdale version)
