The last few (700c) sets I’ve seen have been around $400-500
They are cool looking wheels (+) but have a bit of a bad stigma (deserved or not) as well (-)

Not much if anything I would expect. The earlier versions has issues with spokes coming apart causing crashes. Later versions had rivets holding the spokes together.
I used to ride with someone who owned a pair. He stated they were comfortable on rough roads but flexed a lot.

“Original value,” as in you crashed yours (or they were stolen) and are looking for value for insurance purposes?
I have a set of 650 wheels, got me through plenty of Ironman races back in the 90’s. Never had a problem with them, I even had them inspected with our NDT department at work for any cracking etc. nothing seen. They were fast wheels in the day. Never thought of selling them but if someone wants them then I would consider it, I haven’t used them in some years. Cheers LA Rob
Yeah, exactelly. I own a pair of them, but I have only an approximately idea what the original value was, wich is relevant for the inssurance in the case of they get stolen.
Spinergys on a slinghot or chromed soft ride or klein 650c would be fantastic

If they get stolen, you should owe the insurance company money.

I’ve got a set. Great condition. Original owner. Won’t ride them. Won’t sell them. Unless someone wants to restore a period correct bike to hang on the wall.
Seem to recall paying around $350-400 per wheel new but that was 20+ years ago and the receipts are long since gone.
I believe the regular (not super stiff, or xtra-lite versions) were $800. The others were ~$1000. I had a bunch of them, clincher, tubular, etc, never had a problem but I did hear of earlier version blowing up.
