Spengle wheels?

Not sure how I came to be in possession of them, but I have a pair of Spengle Triton clincher wheels in 650c. The look cool enough but weigh a ton. At any rate…I’m running into a situation where the rear axle isn’t long enough. Quite possibly there is a dust cap…or something to that effect…that extends the outer dropout…that is missing. I don’t even recall seeing it on there (an indication that I’ve had it too long anyway lol). I read in other threads that they were acquired by Xentis but I’m not counting on them being any help. Anyone ever dealt with the wheels before?

Never heard of them, but if they are more than 15 years old it’s possible they are made for a 126mm dropout (assuming it’s a rear wheel) whereas dropouts since the mid 90’s switched to 130mm. I would measure the axle width to see if anything is actually missing. If it is actually a 126mm dropout you shouldn’t use it in a 130mm carbon frame.
