Speedy Reedy Saved me!

For those in the Seattle area, I can’t recommend this tri/bike shop enough. For years now they have come to my rescue time and time again. They’ve ordered obscure parts for me to test, handled the warranty issue on a frame and had it rebuilt in a week to get me ready for the State TT champs, and countless other above-and-beyond things over the years. Sunday I crashed hard on a training ride and along with a nice new collection of road rash, my bike was unridable. I was supposed to race a Crit that afternoon and figured I was out of luck.

They took my bike in to the shop at 1:00 and replaced my rear derailleur, the bent derailleur hanger, frayed wire and handlebar tape and had me out the door in about 2 hours, ready to race!

In this age of less expensive e-bay items available to all of us, this shop is why it is still worth it to me to support the local shop. It definitely goes both ways!

Thanks Speedy Reedy yet again for bailing me out!

Sounds like you got a great shop there! Congrats. I also have a great shop and they give me lowest pos price they can. If I find it cheaper on the internet they put together for me no questions asked. Of course I always tip them and recomend them to freinds.

I was visiting over the past week for the Lake Stevens 70.3 and my front wheel went out of true during shipping. I went to Speedy on Saturday morning, spoke briefly with Saul, explained that I was racing the next day and needed an emergency repair that day to check my bike in. He grabbed my wheel, threw it in the truing stand and told me to have a great race. While I was waiting I walked around the shop, which is a tri geeks dream, and was asked several times by friendly employees if I needed any help. Great shop in a great city; thanks for making my first half as stress free as possible. A+ for service.
