I am a very long time Speedplay pedal user, and have always had either the X1s or X2s, and have had no problems at all. I have two pair that need replacing - is there any reason I should consider moving to the Zeroes? Float is not an issue.

Float (as you know) and adjustability is the main issue. But, the other issue is they clog much less if you have to walk through grass/mud/etc. since the old X series wire was more finicky than their new spring clip.
No reason to switch. The main difference between the two is the float is adjustable on the zero’s. If float isn’t an issue like you said, then no need buying the zero’s and having to buy new cleats and everything. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…right?
