Speedmax CF8 owners - show me your bar setup

Looking for some inspiration to decide what direction to go in to upgrade the aero bar setup. Bought myself a Speedmax CF8 DI2 version last year in white and now I am considering upgrading the front end to make it more comfortable and to look awesome. My online searching skills have failed me and I am yet to find any good setup pictures that people have done on their speedmax.

The idea is to upgrade the aerobars to get full coverage from elbows to hands. I read the super extension thread over at https://forum.slowtwitch.com/forum/?post=7636153 I am looking at the venturibit kaizen neo (called tetsuo now) but before i make a decision I want to see how others have upgraded their bike.

Those look interesting, almost wish I would have seen them before getting my tririg scoops. Do they allow for wire routing somehow for the di2 ends?

I’m personally going to 3d print a monobar end for mine and I’m in the process of designing a computer mount for it as well to get my computer up above my hands and as far out as possible.

I am testing my new tilt hardware. once I get that finally sorted will start my pre orders again for 2 versions.

  1. which is already in the thread listed above. Will offer pre orders at discount with wait time. realistically mid summer
  2. I have a new aero 22.2 coming out which is closer to wattshop anemoi mini but also offers more adjustment(albeit heavier)

If you can wait, I am confident my design will fit like a glove. but comes with weight penalty which is not as critical in tri.

I emailed the company and they sent some pictures but its for CF SLX version that has a mono post (attached at the end of the post). I am waiting to hear back from them if they have anything to use for CF8 version with dual post mounting option. I am not sure what the correct term is.

Would love to see what you are working on. I would really like to have a monobar setup. Would have gone for the CF SLX version if i had extra $$$.

When do you reckon you’ll be able to share more information on this and what will be timeline for delivery on these?

I really love the bars you can find on here https://www.instagram.com/prints4watts/ saw it few months ago on slowtwitch main website. Looks to be a simple to install since it has the two post mounting option as per the images but sadly its custom and the maker only works with few athletes and is not widely available.

Nice bike…looks sharp.
I find so many of these “new” bars do look just like round extensions with a flat top & aren’t anything special from what I’ve seen…but these are pretty nice–the best I’ve seen so far is either Jan’s or print4watts 3D ones highlighted here on ST. Even the 51 Speedshop ones look a bit bland or normal with a little flat section.

The tops of the aero 22.2 will be 47 mm wide.
adjustable oval hand grip with angle adjustment
New hardware is adjustable up to 30 degrees.
Currently testing a 31.8 clip on hardware on my stem attachment. but will over 31.8 as well as for dual stack aerobars
can use this hardware with or without 22.2 mount. 22.2 mount has adjustment in width and angling.

Looking to open the carbon mold of the aero 22.2 by end of March. Then testing/layup. Pro order in April, deliver ideally in July.
