Specialized shoe size vs Sidi, Shimano, Bontrager?

Looking at getting some Specialized cycling shoes. I normally ride a 44.5 in Bontrager, Sidi and a 45 in Shimano. Anyone have a reference for Specialized based on that? I used their “measuring system” on the website but it said I would be a 43.5.

I am a 11.5 in Nike and 11 in Hoka and most other running shoes.

I had wide fitting Specialized and am in (wide fitting) Shimano again now. I’d say shimano wide are slightly looser than the Specialized for my foot shape. But I was/am happy with 48s in both. Never had Bonty or sidi.

FWIW, I’m a 42 in Sidi, Shimano, and Spech. The Sidi is probably the snuggest, followed by the Shimano and then the Specialized.

Running shoes - 11.5 - Brooks, Saucony, Hoka
Sidi road - 46 narrow. bought a pair of sidis last year and the size 46 was too wide. narrow width is no longer available.
Specialized road and tri - 45.5
Pearl Izumi tri - 46

Wow…so you are a full size different from Sidi!

Yes.

I looked at my shoes and now very confused by the labels in them. As I said, both wide fitting .
