Sole Treadmill Advice

Looking for some good old Slowtwitch advice.

I found what looks to be a pretty good deal on a Sole F85 and wanted to see what peeps that have used one think about it.

Its a 2013 model F85 priced at just over $800. Basically it’s the floor model/demo unit. However, it’s from a Sears, so I doubt it’s been demo’d all that much.

The price seems pretty amazing to me assuming the quality of the treadmill is high and the condition is good. Anyone know if Sole would still honor the warranties from the date I purchased?

Thanks for the help.

I have that model, got it from Sears about a year ago. Love it. Great treadmill. That sounds like a great deal too.

I bought an 2013 F80 direct from Sole last year and it has been a good treadmill for me overall. I did have a circuit board go out early on, but Sole sent someone out to replace it and I haven’t had any trouble since. Can you get the serial number and call Sole to check the remaining warranty status? The only other thing was that roller size needed to be calibrated (resulted in pace error), based on a Sole service bulletin, I think. This was easily done through the controls. It may not apply to the F85, but would be worth asking about if you give them a call.

We did a lot of research and Sole 85 was top of our list- so we found the cheapest price was in fact Sears- BUT we paid over $1600 two months ago- so this sound like a great deal… Good luck

We just got this same model after our pervious sole died because of broken water line shorting flooding it out :frowning:

We have run on sole treadmills for years and held up well.

We bought the same model two black fridays ago and it has been amazing we abuse it daily and its used for long runs in winter 10-12 miles. the deal seems great I think ours was about 1200$ if I remember correctly

I paid just under $1,000 for a new F80 about a year ago. Within 6 months, I had cracked the deck. Despite no warranty since I bought it on ebay, the Sole rep was very helpful and sent me a new deck ($100 I think) with free shipping and a free bottle of lube. Except for the deck issue and very slow acceleration/deceleration, the F80 has been great.
