Sole F63 treadmill tension adjustment help!

I have a Sole F63 treadmill. It really does NOT have a ton of use. Maybe 1 year.

It did sit in storage for a year while we were moving and didn’t have a place for it at the house.

I got it back and set it up and the treadmill was sticking pretty badly.

I cleaned and lubed it. Still sticking. I adjusted the tension on it and have it tracking properly. To get the belt to not stick, i have to have the tension tight enough that the belt is actually hovering over the deck too high. If i change the tension to get the belt closer to the deck, it sticks.

I did adjust the roller up front to help get the belt lined up. perhaps I did something up there that elevates the belt?

any advice?

I think you’re still within warranty - best to contact Sole directly and see what they recommend.

Did you do the silicone lube under the belt thing?

Sticking can be from a few things, including the belt being too tight (and possibly too loose…).

I’d start fresh by:

  1. Use towel to clean the deck
  2. Use towel to try to clean the underside of the belt
  3. Lubricate with silicon, but not so much that it gums it up.
  4. Re-tension belt based on recommendation from Sole. I think typical is being able to pull the belt up a few inches.

i’ve cleaned and lubed. i tried calling sole but they experiencing delays so i sent them an email.

we will see what they have to say.
