 I have a Powertap SL+ hub for sale that is laced to a Mavic Open Pro wheelset. I had plans to lace this lighter hub into a set of race wheels, but my team has just been offered a deal on the Quarq. So my loss is your gain. The mavic open pro wheelset is bombproof, and for training wheels they are pretty darn light. This hub is very light, so if you wanted to have them built into race wheels it could be done. The front hub is a Chris King hub, and as everyone knows, they make some of the best components. I purchased the wheelset back in October, but I hardly rode them once I got my training powertap in December. I'd say it has no more than several hundred miles on the wheelset. The wheels are as true as can be.

The hub alone retails for $1350. I would be willing to let the wheelset with the Powertap SL+ and Chris King front hub go for $1200. That will include free shipping in the CONUS, and I will absorb Paypal fees.

I’m interested, but it’s a bit out of my price range. I’ve only got about $800 to spend.

Yes. $400 knocked off of a hub that has less than 500 miles seems like a steal to me. Were you implying the wheelset + hub for $800.
