Socks: Who Makes Tight, Ultra-Thin, Fitted, Low-Cut Running Socks?

Unbeknownst to me, I think Saucony has discontinued my absolute favorite running socks, their XP Superlight. They were super thin, fitted for left and right, compressive, arch support etc.

What’s the next best sock out there?

Eric

I’ve been using some New Balance socks I got at the NB outlet. Thin, tight, low cut. Pretty sure these are them.

Fan of swiftwick.
a bit $$ but had no issue during last weekends SR70.3.

Balega hidden dry socks are great!

I’m not familiar with the socks you mention, but it sounds like the kind of sock I have worn a bit of.

My current favorite of thinner socks is the Balega Ultralight no-show. It’s not super thin or left/right specific, so maybe not exactly what you’re looking for.

My thinnest socks are Merrells. I have a couple of these that have held up well. Fairly compressive, arch support, left/right specific and about as thin as I care to wear now.

I love the thin Injinji socks.

Those Merrells are exactly what I want, but of course they are out of my size…

Those Aspire Zero also look good…

Check Compressport …

Using these and the high model and love them (although for competition up to 1/2IM I’m running sock-less.

Balega hidden dry socks are great!

Second that - I have a few Balega super thin. My ultimate favorite though are Feetures - lifetime warranty if they ever wear thin or break down. NQA.

I like the Balega Hidden Dry, but I’m tempted to try these the next time I need socks.

Asics Quick Lyte Single Tab. Thin, tight, super fast drying and cheap. $15 per 3 pack but often on sale.

Interesting thanks. Left right fitted? Thin?

Nike. There may be some Nike haters out there but they make good socks. I will also second the Swiftwick, I like them much better than Balega and certainly better than Injinji socks (which are a pita to put on in a race other even training).

Like others have mentioned, I like the Balega Hidden Dry socks, though they seem to wear easy. I recently picked up these Stance socks and I really like them:

Yes! Feetures are also great

Swiftwick for thin. My Balegas are nice but a little thicker.

Stangely I found Wigwam to have the best thin no-show running socks. They are even branded with that fancy symbol everyone likes.
