So gunman walks into a gun free zone and shoots down 12.
Shooter is stopped once police arrive on scene with guns.
Gunman worked at this site and knew it was a gun free zone. He knew he had 3-5 minutes being the only one with a gun. That staff was helpless in defending themselves.
I wonder what would have happened if this was not a gun free zone and staff were allowed to have concealed carry options?
Would the gunman still have taken this route?
Would the gunman have been afforded the time it took until police arrived?
Would the gunman have successfully shot down all 12 staff members?

So you look at the entire world and in your head you are actually think, “Hmm, America has a problem with people murdering with guns and also has more guns than any other country, clearly the solution to prevent further incidents is more guns, because there aren’t countless examples of what actually works. I mean clearly this man shot up his workplace because it was a gun free zone and was really thinking through the consequences of his actions, if there was possibly someone armed there, this clear thinking individual would not have shot it up. Yep, this all adds up in my head, time to tell the internet!”

What is the solution? Tougher gun laws?
Because laws do such a good job of stopping criminals, don’t drink and drive people it’s against the law.
We can make gun laws tougher, but these criminals will still get their hands on a gun.
Plenty of responsible gun owners live in this country, they should not be punished because others do not know how to use them. Should we get rid of cars because some do not know how to operate them?
I am up for a debate on this, but part of our 2nd amendment (that will never go away) allows citizens to have possession of guns. Shooting is a sport, it is used for hunting, etc. Anyone that believes we can “just get rid of guns” entirely out of their mind. If we did that guess who would not give up their guns…criminals.
BTW I do not own a gun, have no intention, and am against the NRA.
