Smooth Criminal....Unbelievable

Well…Michael Jackson had the best justice money could buy…not guilty? What is the world coming to now…

Michael

Do you know for a fact that he is guilty?

No, and the only people that truly know are the possible victims and the accused but in my opinion of what was presented it is unbelievable that the jury came to that conclusion. I can only hope that he really wasn’t guilty and now free to repeat what he may have done.

I also think that the justice system is flawed (perfection isn’t possible) such that the same evidence tried in a different court/location/personalities would have a different outcome.

Michael

I expected that verdict. I think the guy is almost certainly guilty, but the prosecution has a very high burden of proof. I haven’t followed the case, but from what I understand, the prosecution just couldn’t meet the burden of proof.

It is very tough to prove a crime like that absent decent witnesses. The victim and his family in this case were badly flawed and obviously out to set him up from the start. Just because he was set up, doesn’t mean he didn’t diddle the kid though.

Tough case.

What was presented? And by whom…the prosecution or your local talk radio personality?

Whether or not he is guilty, any parent who allows thier boy to sleep in bed with a forty-something man is guilty of neglegent parenting.

When I said “presented” I meant everything that I know and base my opinion on. That includes what I know from his broadcasts, interviews, news stories, talk shows, etc. Like I said before, I found the decision unbelievable based on what “I” had heard from my limited sources. I did not follow his case day by day and only heard what the media *wanted *me to hear.

I understand how the public only learns what they (mainly the media) want to report. Trust me on that one. I form my opinions based on the facts as I know them. Whether or not it is right or wrong really doesn’t and shouldn’t matter to anyone else.

To be able to go through life without judging others based on what little I know about them is a trait that I wish I had. Outside of my family, I can’t think of anyone that I know enough about to fairly and accurately judge. Therefore, my opinions of others may be wrong and/or based upon only half-truths…and I recognize that fact…it is a shame not everyone does.

O.J., Blake and now Michael. Seems the best way to beat the rap is to become a celebrity and get tried in California.

Seriously, for once I agree with Art. He hit the nail on the head IMO.
