Nice idea but it would be nice if you could adapt it to any sunglasses.

I bought a “time window” a few years back. A little doodad that sticks to the front of your swim goggles and showed your time. I lasted about 1,500 yards with it and never put it back on. Drove me insane.
I was hoping it was going to be an opti-grab.
Were you able to clearly see the display? Of course, on swim goggles, it must have masked most of your vision.
Is it always on or could you turn it of?
I think it could be good to have the display on demand.
Always on, they are still available. http://www.kiefer.com/Kiefer/productr.asp?pf_id=610105&gift=False&HSLB=False&mscssid=224B19A33DC943A18FB8216FF78CC9D3
I would, out of professional curiosity. I’ve worked with most of the wearable displays available from 1990 - 2003. I’d be a bit concerned about people who are left-eye dominant (like me) wearing this, as I think using it with the non-dominant eye is a bit safer for tasks that require significant attention to something other than the display. I’d also be curious as to how well it resists washing out in sunlight, but as it is a research prototype, they have plenty of time (and work) to iron these things out.
